Rising Sun Graphix is meant to be different from a regular streetshop. Totally private and quiet. Working like this is not meant to be for everyone and I respect and understand different way of conducting tattooing on a higher level. Either it´s a private studio or street/walk-in shop. Remember I try to focus on serious work, most times this including several sessions and extensive hours before reaching finished result.
Japanese Tattoing is one of the existing styles in tattooing that is most time consuming. This is because of the images and graphix used. One of my goals in creating solid/strong tattoos includes less detailed outlines. This means the use of more simplified images and the use of heavy black in the background.
I´m traveling to Japan on a regular basis, been there 5 times since 2001. And it really helped out a lot trying to find the true spirit and roots of the Japanese tattoo. Remember, there are many styles of Japanese Tattooing. It´s up to you as a customer to decide what you like. My style is just one more attempt to make it fit together, and is the result of many years education on my own, which includes drawing, tattooing, travelling and meeting serious tattooers around the globe who share the same goal. Making kickass-tattoos!
I´ve had the oppurtunity to meet many good tattooers in Japan, USA and Europe and wish to say many thank´s to them all for showing and sharing valuable information that helped me alot along the way the last couple of years.
Last but not least I wish to express my gratitude to my loyal regular-customers that keep on coming for more hardcore-tattoos.
